The Washington Agriculture Leadership Experience is an annual summer event for students to join together for agriculture industry tours and guest speakers. The event is Sponsored by AgWest Farm Credit.

The goal of the Washington Agriculture Leadership Experience is to introduce advance FFA members to business, industry and legislative contacts within our state. An average of 50 students and estimated 15 agriculture teachers participate each year. FFA members are selected through an application process, and are provided housing and meals during the two-day event. Program objectives are to:

• Encourage self-confidence at an early age through leadership training which will increase the number of high school graduates

• Increase the number of high school graduates who enroll in higher education opportunities after high school

• Provide the next generation of agriculture and local community leaders

Support the next generation of agriculturists

Sponsor donations will provide:

• Transportation for agriculture industry tours

• Meals and housing for participants

• Materials/Supplies as needed
